Travel to Benbecula can be done by either air or sea. Benbecula Airport on the island has daily flights to Glasgow, Stornoway, Inverness and Barra.
Ferry services to the mainland are offered from Lochmaddy on North Uist a one and ¾ hour crossing will take you to Uig on Skye for your onward journey and from Lochboisdale on South Uist the crossing is five hours to Oban.
There is an inter-island ferry link at Berneray, North Uist & Eriskay, South Uist to connect to the islands of Harris and Barra respectively. Flight & ferry timetables can be found in our links section.
